Owner tries to close pub and turn into housing against the wishes of its customers. Updated details
Owner tries to close pub and turn into housing against the wishes of its customers. A planning application has been submitted to Fenland Council to change the Nag's Head in Eastrea into housing despite the fact that the pub is supported by its customers and it's the last pub in the village. Peterborough CAMRA have objected to the application and we would urge others to do so too. The locals are none too happy and have made representations to Fenland Council, as have Peterborough CAMRA. If you would like to object (and we'd reckon you should) have a look at the Fenland Council website at www.fenland.gov.uk and go to the Planning part of the site. The Application reference number is F/YR10/0300/F
